Holiday packages soon from Jet Airways: official

Jet Airways plans to offer affordable holiday packages soon in Doha to destinations beyond India, according to the airline's newly appointed general manager for Qatar, K Prasad.
The airline, which flies to 45 points inside India, operates to almost 20 international destinations, including cities in the Far East, Europe and the Americas.
The airline, which started operations from Doha on January 23 with daily services to Kozhikode and Mumbai, also has plans to expand its network to South America. More destinations in the Gulf, Far East and Saudi Arabia too will be added.
Prasad, who had been the Gulf Air's general manager in Dammam until now, said yesterday the packages were being worked out, mainly focusing on Indian expatriates.
In addition to quality travel, the main attraction of the holiday packages would be the opportunity to visit parents and siblings in India before jetting off to a foreign destination.
