PATA Travel Mart 2008 takes on Air India as official carrier

New Delhi: As a build up to the PATA (Pacific Asia Travel Association) Travel Mart 2008 to be held in September in Hyderabad, The PATA India Chapter recently selected Air India as the official carrier for the event. This selection will make Air India the preferred carrier for delegates attending the Mart from world over. As per the agreement, Air India will offer special fares and up-gradation at a cost to delegates attending the event. This move will further help the national carrier enhance their marketing and branding initiatives through promotions to international delegates.
With regards to plans for the Travel Mart, delegates traveling to Hyderabad will be transited form three points in India namely Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai.
PATA selected Hyderabad as the venue considering good connectivity due to the new airport and state-of-the-art convention facilities.
