Cathay Pacific to add 11 flights to India

Hong Kong's biggest carrier, Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd said on Wednesday it plans to add 11 flights to Hong Kong -India route, increasing the number of flights to 35 to cater to increasing air volume between the two places.
The airline will launch four flights each week to Chennai starting from Jun. 3. Meanwhile, flights to Bangalore will kick off by its subsidiary Hong Kong Dragon Airlines Ltd from May. 24. Cathay's weekly flights to New Delhi will be boosted to 14, coupled with 10 flights for Bombay after the campaign.
Indian market is of great potential as casual travel between the two regions are increasing rapidly, said Tom Wright, GM of the airline's Indian unit.
