Dead actor was heading home

An Indian actor and musician who died in a Sydney hotel room was turned away from a plane days before his death because airport staff suspected he was too drunk to board.
D. Prakash, 30, was found dead by staff at a hotel in Hosking Place, in the heart of Sydney, on March 25.
He had been performing in British director Tim Supple's acclaimed touring production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, which had ended at the Sydney Theatre three nights earlier.
Yesterday it emerged his death might not have happened if he had flown to India, as he had intended to do.
Official sources confirmed the talented actor and percussionist was at Sydney Airport two days before his death but was too intoxicated to fly.
He then returned to his hotel in Sydney's central business district where he continued to drink and later choked on his own vomit.
Fellow cast member Faezeh Jalali confirmed a funeral took place for Prakash last week in his home province of Tamil Nadu.
