New Delhi: One flight was diverted while few others were delayed at the IGI Airport here due to thundershowers and dust storms that lashed the capital on Friday evening.
A Jetlite flight (S2-164) was diverted to Lucknow and some flights were delayed due to bad weather, IGI Airport sources said.
The bad weather also forced the Airport authorities to use single runway which resulted in delay in landing and take-off of flights.
However, both the runways were used later in the evening with the weather conditions improving, they said.
The sunny weather gave way to overcast sky at around 4 pm resulting in thundershowers and dust storms in several parts of the city.
