Kingfisher-Deccan merger to be effective after HC nod: Mallya

Kingfisher Airlines chief Vijay Mallya on Thursday said the merger between Kingfisher and Deccan Aviation will become effective as soon as the Karnataka High court approves it.
"The shareholders meetings of both Kingfisher and Deccan Aviation held under the orders of Karnataka High court went off smoothly, resolutions were passed. There has been a ballot. We are just waiting for the approval by the High Court," Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of Kingfisher Airlines Vijay Mallya said.
