New Delhi: Air India has responded to the Kerala MP Abdul Wahab's warning to move a privilege motion against the pilot who ordered the MP to get off a Doha-Baharin-Kozhikode-Kochi flight.
''All the facts of the case are being looked into. We will get a complete report soon. But at all points of time, we maintain that, as a commercial organisation, the customer is always right,'' said Jitendra Bhargava, Director, Public Relations, Air India.
Earlier, Wahab, from the Muslim League, was asked by a pilot to get off a Doha-Baharin-Kozhikode-Kochi flight for delaying it. But Kerala's richest MP says the fault wasn't his at all.
''I was well in time but the flight came late and the captain was pushing to take-off ASAP. He was fighting with a flight official on the stairs. I intervened and told him not to abuse the official he told me it's none of your business to intervene. I said I am an MP and it's my right to interfere. He told me you run the country, I will run the flight. I told him you are a glorified driver and I am an MP he told me I will not fly with you then I got out of the flight along with my family voluntarily,'' said Wahab.
