Caparo aerospace park may land at Hindupur

HYDERABAD: Caparo Group, one of the world's largest industrial houses promoted by Lord Swraj Paul, is planning to set up an aerospace park at Hindupur in AP.
The group is seeking about 1,000 acres. While the government is yet to take a decision, the project is expected to herald a new era in aerospace-related activity.
It is expected to cater to the aerospace market as the activity at the two international airports in Bangalore and Hyderabad gains pace, an official source said.
Caparo is already an approved supplier of aerospace components to global aviation companies. "The group is planning to build a global (aerospace) sourcing hub in India,"the official said.
