The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) today inked an agreement with the Airports Authority of India (AAI) to promote mutual cooperation in civil aviation between the two organisations. The Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) was signed by Mr Lim Kim Choon, Director-General and Chief Executive Officer, CAAS, and Dr K. Ramalingam, Chairman, AAI.
Under this collaborative arrangement, CAAS and AAI can tap on each other’s experience in airport operations and learn from each other’s best practices. Both organisations will share knowledge in areas of airport management and operations, and exchange information on civil aviation programmes and projects. The agreement will also pave the way for coordination in training, research and development programmes.
Mr Lim said, “This agreement is another step forward in the close relationship between CAAS and AAI. With strong growth in the Indian aviation market and increasing air links between our two countries, this agreement will enable CAAS and AAI to actively engage one another in joint discussions and learn from each other’s areas of expertise. We look forward to a dynamic collaboration with AAI.”
