DUBAI: The Indian consulate in Dubai rescued two Indian women from the Dubai International airport after they refused to board their flight fearing being duped by their employer.
The two women hailing from Kerala, did not board their flight on Monday that was booked by their employers, fearing being duped and not being able to reach their hometown.
They are currently lodged at the Indian consulate shelter house until further arrangements are made to send them home.
"We were being sent to Chennai instead of Kerala," they said.
The plight of the two women, in their mid-thirties, came to light when they sought help from a fellow Indian.
