Dabolim airport personnel returns womans bag

Vasco: A woman (whose identification has not been disclosed) travelling by Mumbai bound GoAir flight on Thursday afternoon during her security check left her several belongings at the domestic security hold. On her arrival at Mumbai airport she remembered that she have lost her valuable belongings at Dabolim airport. She contacted the duty terminal manager at Mumbai airport and even tried to lodge a missing complaint to the police there.
Meantime, the AAI and the CISF personnel at Dabolim airport detained the abandoned bag which was containing 10-15 credit cards, Indian and foreign currency total amounting to Rs 2 lakh, jewellery which was also amounting to several lakhs of rupees from the domestic security hold.
On verifying the documents, the AAI and CISF personnel found a telephone number of a person who had delivered a personal card to the traveler. Upon contacting the card holder, the AAI and CISF personnel intimated the duty terminal manager at Mumbai airport.
The desperate woman when heard the news of detaining the bag containing valuable items, she was surprised and expressed her gratefulness to the AAI and CISF personnel at Dabolim airport.
The sources at the Dabolim airport when contacted informed that the woman was supposed to fly to London on May 25 and the bag which she had left at Dabolim airport was containing her passport besides visa.
