Deccan flight suffers wing crack

An Air Deccan Airbus A320-200, flight DN726 from New Delhi to Ranchi (India) with 55 passengers, suffered a crack of its left wing after arriving at its parking position at Ranchi. A stair attached to the airplane door was flung away by a serious thunderstorm, landing the stair in the airplane's left wing. The passengers had already deboarded the aircraft. No injuries were reported.
The onward flights to Patna and Delhi had to be cancelled.
