Berlin: India`s multi-faceted and rapidly expanding defence capabilities will be on display at the Berlin Air Show which gets underway here on Tuesday.
The biennial international aerospace exhibition is featuring India as the "partner country" this time to focus attention on the enormous opportunities for trade and investments in aviation and defence sectors in India.
It will also enable Indian aviation and defence industries to present their full range of products and services to top-level military officials, politicians and business leaders from around the world.
Defence Minister A K Antony arrived here yesterday to attend the opening of the six-day air show, which will be inaugurated by German Chancellor Angela Merkel on the grounds of Berlin`s Schoenefeld airport.
About 25 Indian companies as well as national defence and aerospace organisations will showcase the big strides made by India in recent years in the areas of defence and security.
