On Thursday evening, immigration officials caught a 42-year-old man from East Godavari district while he was trying to board a Kuwait flight using the visa of another person.
M Venkata Satyanarayana is a resident of Keshava Durgam in Sakkinetipalli mandal of East Godavari district.
According to police, he along with four others went to Kuwait in 2001 to work as a gardner at a sheikh's house. He returned from the Gulf on February 1, 2008 on leave.
"Satyanarayana was apprehended by immigration officials for using visa granted to his friend Kona Venkateswara Rao, who is still in Kuwait," a senior immigration official said.
