Two Santa Barbara women arrested in India have been released on bail.
57-year-old Monica Bond and her daughter, 37-year-old Heather Bond, were arrested earlier this month after airport officials found ammunition cartridges in their luggage.
According to India's "The Statesman" newspaper a judge released the two women, but told them not to leave the country until the case is resolved.
They face charges under the Indian Arms Act, which carries a sentence of three to seven years.
