Plane makes unscheduled landing

Kolkata: A Qatar Airlines plane with 233 passengers on board made an unscheduled landing at the N S C Bose International Airport here on Friday after a passenger fell sick.
The Qatar Airlines plane was on its way to Doha from Bangkok when a passenger on board fell sick. The pilot then diverted the plane to Kolkata and made an unscheduled landing so that medical help could be provided to the sick passenger, airport sources said.
Airport doctors immediately attended to the sick passenger who was later shifted to a city hospital, sources said.
