SpiceJet to start cargo operations Guwahati, Bagdogra

New Delhi: The low cost carrier, SpiceJet, today said it would start its cargo operations from Guwahati and Bagdogra airport in north Bengal by next month.
With this, the number of destinations covered by the airline’s cargo operations will increase to 11. The nine centres currently covered by it include New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Pune and Coimbatore.
SpiceJet’s chief commercial officer, Mr Samyukth Sridharan, said: “We are aggressively looking at the cargo business and have put in necessary infrastructure.”
