Delay deliveries...Airbus tells Indian airlines

Mumbai: According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, the aviation malaise that has infected US airlines appears to be spreading abroad.

The report stated that Jet Airways is in talks with Boeing Co to defer deliveries of two Boeing 777s to next year from their planned handover in October.
Airbus, a unit of European Aeronautic Defence & Space Co., is urging Indian customers to reschedule deliveries in hopes of forestalling a capacity glut that could hobble customers long term and could eat into future jetliner demand, the report added.
