Ras Al Khaimah Airways identifies India as a hotspot

International airlines are flocking to India because they believe the country’s international air traffic will grow in the coming years.
Large carriers already operating here such as Emirates and British Airways are either increasing the number of flights to Indian cities they already fly to, or beginning to fly to new cities, while smaller players such as Ras Al Khaimah Airways are starting to fly to India. Ras Al Khaimah Airways started operations in India from April, flying between Kozhikode and Ras Al-Khaimah.
“India, with its huge middle-class population of over 250 million, is like RAK Airways, an untapped gold mine,” said K. Ravindran, chief operating officer at Ras Al Khaimah Airways.
