Mumbai: Kingfisher Airlines, in order to cash on the opportunity provided by the Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) convention to be held in London this month is looking at introducing its first international service on the Bangalore- London route. The airline will provide special ID 100 tickets to the travel agents attending the TAAI convention, wherein they will have to pay only the tax mentioned on the ticket. In order to cater to the 1, 500 plus delegates from India participating in the TAAI convention, airlines such as Jet Airways, SriLankan Airlines, British Airways and Swiss International Airlines are providing attractive and discounted rates to the travel agents.
Talking about the discounted tickets, Bhanu Mohan Kaila, Head of Sales – West, Kingfisher Airlines Limited said, “This is one among our various promotional moves. We want the travel agents to experience their own Kingfisher on international routes. Since this will be our first international route, I'm sure it will be a great experience for our passengers cum trade partners (travel agents).”
