Tina Ambani’s plane hits snag

Mumbai: Anil Ambani’s private jet with wife Tina Ambani and her friends on board returned to Mumbai airport after taking off for Nice in France due to a technical snag Tuesday.
‘The bombardier Global 5000 aircraft was forced to turn back when its nose wheel door could not be closed, creating a drag in mid-air,’ an airport official said requesting anonymity.
The flight VT-JSK bound to Nice in France departed at around 1.30 p.m. but returned to Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport here at 4.05 p.m.
After receiving clearance from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the private jet finally took off at around 8.30 p.m.
