Era Infra Engineering Ltd.through their construction & contracts division in joint venture with KMB, Ukraine has bagged a contract for the Construction of new terminal building at Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Airport, Indore. Once completed Indore Airport will have a New Expandable Modular Integrated Terminal Building. The Rs 113 crore worth tender was floated by the Airports Authority of India (AAI).
The project, part of the effort of the country to create modern airports at all major centres and state capitals, is scheduled to be completed by October 2009.
The scope of work includes Civil, Sanitary, Plumbing, Internal & External Electrification, HVAC System, PA & CCTV System, Fire Detection and Fire Fighting System, Elevators, Escalators, Baggage Conveyor System etc.
Commenting on the contract, Mr. T.D.Arora, Head, Construction & Contracts Division, Era Infra Engineering Limited, said, "...This contract will be our third assignment in this sector after the Pune and Raipur airport contracts. .. Our focus now will be the timely delivery and adherence to high performance and quality standards."
