Jet Airways, Kingfisher Alliance to Save $309 Million

Jet Airways (India) Ltd. and Kingfisher Airlines Ltd., India's largest domestic carriers, will be able to save as much as 15 billion rupees ($309 million) through a new alliance, Kingfisher's Chairman Vijay Mallya said.
Kingfisher will review its overseas flight plans because of the alliance, Mallya told reporters in Hyderabad, India today. He didn't provide a timeframe for the savings.
