Last week yours truly got a call from Star Plus for the launch of their dance reality show Nach Baliye 4 which would be ‘on air’. On air in TV parlance means ‘will be shot and shown in TV’. It was only when the PR executive instructed me to be at the airport that I was curious. “Hava mein launch kar rahe hain, you will be flying!” she said. And so it was. The show was launched 35,000 feet above ground level where all the three judges Karisma Kapur, Farah Khan and Arjun Rampal and contestants, 10 out of the 12 jodis walked down the aisles of the Jet Airways Boeing aircraft. While most of the jodis smiled and posed for the shutterbugs, Jaspal and Savita Bhatti shook a leg and had the entire media rooting for them. Farah, in her characteristic humorous style announced that there were only three parachutes in the plane and they were reserved for the judges. It livened up the proceedings.
