Kuala Lumpur: Two Malaysian women were arrested on Saturday when authorities at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai, India found three drug-filled coffee-makers in their luggage.
Newspapers in India reported that the women, in their 40s, were arrested by the Airport Intelligence Unit while waiting for their Etihad Airlines flight to London via Abu Dhabi. The coffee-makers contained 30kg of ketamine hidden in concealed compartments.
The women claimed they were asked to transport the coffee-makers to London by a man in Kuala Lumpur.
