Doha’s Overseas Travel Bureau has been appointed the Qatar GSA for IndiGo, one of India’s new domestic airlines.
At a meeting held at the Ramada Plaza hotel, the airline’s chief commercial officer Sanjay Kumar announced the formal appointment of Overseas Travel Bureau (OTB) as his company’s business partner in Qatar.
Kumar expressed confidence that the Doha-based agency would meet the business targets set by IndiGo, which he described as a “truly affordable” airline currently flying to 17 destinations within India.
OTB general manager Metri Altwal said: “We are confident that the partnership would further add to the quality air travel option.”
Kumar said the airline currently carried 450,000 passengers a month and operated more than 100 flights daily. The destinations are Agartala, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune and Vadodara.
