Nagpur airport gears up for Haj pilgrims

Nagpur: The Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport here is all set to welcome the Haj pilgrims. The single window clearance facility for check-in and immigration is likely to be provided at airport terminal building to help the travellers save time. Security will also be beefed up during the Haj flights days from November 21 to 26 at the airport premises.
Airport controller SN Borkar said, “As an annual feature pandals, barricades and other facilities will be provided to Haj pilgrims and their relatives. The airport officials, CISF jawans and Air India officials are making elaborate arrangements for the smooth operations of Haj flights from the airport.”
