Passenger misbehaves with flight crew, held

Mumbai: In yet another case of passenger misbehaviour, a Moscow-based traveller was detained by the Sahar police for creating a ruckus onboard an
Aeroflot flight. This is the second such case in a matter of two weeks.
The passenger, K Victor, was handed over to the police by the officials of Aeroflot airlines, a Russia-based carrier, which landed in Mumbai in the wee hours of Friday.
According to the police, the passenger misbehaved with an airhostess after being denied a drink on the flight. The flight attendant saw that the passenger was getting drunk. So she refused to serve him any more liquor. This infuriated the passenger who was already sozzled by then, said a police official. He first got into an argument with her and then started misbehaving, he added.
The airline staffers got the passenger out and handed him to the local police officials at 5.50 am. He was booked under Section 110 of the Bombay Police Act for indecent behaviour in public. He was let off on bail later.
