Kochi: Extending full support to the protesting IATA Agents Association of India on the issue of agency-commission, K Chandran Pillai MP on Friday said that there is zero tolerance to the zero-commission policy of airline companies.
The IAAI has retaliated by deciding not to issue the tickets of the 16 airline companies, including Air India, Jet Airways and Kingfisher Airlines, which have refused to pay agency-commission from Saturday.
IAAI Core Committee member Paulose K Mathew said that Union Minister for Overseas Indian Affairs Vayalar Ravi had promised help to have a meeting arranged with Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel on Monday.
