New Delhi: Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel said on Tuesday that Indian carriers should pass on the benefit of lower aviation fuel prices to the customers. The prices of aviation fuel were cut by another 11 per cent on Monday—the seventh straight cut in prices.
“The government has supported the aviation industry so much when ATF prices were high,” he said.
Airlines have recently cut only Rs 400 in airfares in the form of lower fuel surcharges.
