IA to operate courier flights from Kargil

Jammu: Indian Airlines would soon operate courier flights from Kargil to Srinagar and Jammu.
Four flights are expected to operate from Kargil to Jammu and Srinagar stations in a week, Deputy Commissioner of Kargil, Satesh Nehru said here.
As per the schedule, flight from Kargil to Srinagar and vice versa would be operated on Monday and Thursday and from Kargil to Jammu and vice versa on Tuesday and Saturday.
The schedule of these flights would be increased for six days a week from January 2009, Nehru added.
