IndiGo effects cut in fuel surcharge from today

New Delhi: Following the footsteps of Air India and Jet Airways, no-frill carrier IndiGo today announced a cut of Rs 400 in its fuel surcharge across all domestic routes.
"Effective December six, IndiGo has reduced its fuel surcharge to match that of Air India, Jet Airways and JetLite," IndiGo President Aditya Ghosh told PTI here.
He said this was aimed at keeping the promise of affordable fares and passing on the benefits of the recent reduction in aviation turbine fuel (ATF) prices to the air travellers.
IndiGo operates 125 flights across 17 destinations with a fleet of 19 brand new Airbus A-320 aircraft.
