Mumbai: Kingfisher Airlines, which was supposed to announce its decision on paying three per cent commission to travel agents yesterday, has not yet taken any decision regarding the same. As reported by TravelBiz Monitor yesterday, Kingfisher Airlines could not take their decision day before yesterday as the airline representatives wanted to ask their bosses who were out of station. However, Kingfisher Airlines is ‘still thinking’ over the issue. Anil Kalsi, Chairman – Northern Region, TAAI said, “Jet Airways implemented three per cent agency commission from yesterday. We were expecting Kingfisher's decision yesterday itself, but till now we have not received any approval or annulment from them.”
When contacted Kingfisher Airlines, Prakash Mirpuri, Senior General Manager – Corporate Media Relations, The UB Group said, “We are thinking over it. Once we take the decision we will let you know.” The decision on the three per cent commission issue from Air India is expected by tomorrow.
