New Delhi : The government has decided to grant Miniratna status to Airports Authority of India.
"The government has decided in-principle to grant Category 1 Miniratna status to Airports Authority of India," Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel on Thursday said in a written reply to Lok Sabha.
Patel said as per the eligibility criteria and guidelines laid down for Category 1 Miniratna Status, "PSEs should have made profit in the last three years continuously, the pre-tax profit should have been Rs 30 crore or more in at least one of the three years continuously and should have positive net worth."
