MAS To Sign Code-share Deal With Jet Airways

Sepang: Malaysian Airline System Bhd (MAS) plans to sign a code-share agreement with Jet Airways of India next month that will connect it to more destinations in India, said managing director/chief executive officer, Datuk Seri Idris Jala.
He said it was important to increase and consolidate the code-share deals and to help both airlines during this difficult time.
"We will be finalising the deal soon, probably by next month," he said at Media Appreciation Night 2009 presented by Sepang Gold Coast Sdn Bhd and MAS last night. MAS has nearly 30 code-share agreements and partnerships with major partners.
Idris said in order to provide more choices for international flights, MAS would introduce more value packages for customers.
