Sonia inaugurates intl airport in Srinagar

Srinagar: UPA chairperson, Sonia Gandhi flagged off train from Baramulla by pressing a lever from Srinagar airport. Gandhi also inaugurated Srinagar international airport for international flights.
A function was organized at Srinagar airport where two big projects were inaugurated by UPA chairperson. Gandhi termed both the projects achievement and congratulated the team of engineer’s of Railways for making rail project a success.
In Baramulla, the mood at railway station terminal was jubilant where hundreds had gathered to watch the rail to chug from Baramulla. When UPA chairperson Sonia Fandhi waved the green flag to flag off the historical train, people clapped with joy as the train chugged out of the station. In the inaugural train from Baramulla around one thousand including three hundred children boarded the train. “This is a dream come true,” said Shiekh Haroon, a school teacher soon after he boarded the first train from border town Baramulla. “Now our only wish is that the railway link should be connected with rest of the country,” he said.
