The total domestic passengers carried by the Scheduled Airlines of India in the month of February, 2009 was 33.36 lakhs. The total passengers carried by domestic airlines in the month of January, 2009 was 33.26 lakhs. The break-up for the month of February, 2009 is as follows:
Air India (Domestic) – 5.74 lakhs, Jet Airways –5.97 lakhs, Jet Lite – 2.49 lakhs, Kingfisher – 9.04 lakhs, Spice Jet – 4.13 lakhs, Paramount – 0.61 lakhs, Go Air – 0.84 lakhs, IndiGo – 4.41 lakhs.
The percentage share of the carriers in the month of February 2009 was:
Air India (Domestic) 17.2%, Jet Airways – 17.9%, Jet Lite – 7.5%, Kingfisher – 27.1%, Spice Jet – 12.4%, Paramount – 1.8%, Go Air – 2.5% and IndiGo – 13.2%.
The seat factors of the domestic airlines in the month of February, 2009 was:
Air India (Domestic) – 66.3%, Jet Airways – 68.7%, JetLite – 74.2%, Kingfisher Airlines – 74.3%, Spice Jet – 78.5%, Paramount Airways – 81.6%, Go Air – 66.0% and IndiGo – 82.0%.
