Bangalore: The last rites of the two Indian Air Force (IAF) pilots who were killed in the Saras air-crash were performed with full military honours on Sunday at the IAF crematorium.
The two test pilots Wing Commander K Praveen and Wing Commander Dipesh Shah, along with test engineer Squadron Leader Ilayaraja, were killed after the Saras protoype aircraft crash-landed in an open area at Sheshagirihalli near Bidadi on Friday.
Senior IAF officers placed wreaths on their bodies and cremation was carried out with full military honours.
Ilayaraja’s mortal remains were flown on Saturday to Villupuram in Tamil Nadu.
