SpiceJet has announced the launch of a breakfast menu available for sale on all flights that depart before 9.30 am. The single type continental breakfast tray is available at a discounted price of Rs 100 if it is pre-ordered at the time of booking the ticket. The same is available on board for Rs 130. These hygienically packed breakfast trays comprise light croissant (breakfast roll of buttery puff pastry), a portion of seasonal fruits, fruit yoghurt, fruit juice, butter and jam. Guests can finish their breakfast with hot tea/ coffee (served with cookies) for and additional payment of Rs. 20. Other items that are also available for sale on board are carbonated drinks (Rs 50), Orange Juice (Rs 50) and pre packaged cashew nuts (Rs 50)
Announcing the launch of the new breakfast menu, Samyukth Sridhran, Chief Commercial Officer, SpiceJet said, “We are happy to begin this brand new service for our guests. This will certainly benefit business travelers who depart early and do not have the time or inclination to eat either at home or at the airport. Now they can enjoy healthy wholesome breakfast at 40,000 ft. Our hot beverage sale will also complement this new service. Our food offering is our way of assuring our guests that we are all about value. We listen to them, we incorporate their feedback and we offer them something that is good and affordable. Pre-ordering food at the time of booking tickets help them to get a good discount and help us to contain wastage and manage our costs and inventory better” he concluded. SpiceJet also recently introduced ‘Sandwich of the day’ where one type of sandwich is chosen from a selection of three to offer frequent travellers variety and range.
