Bahrain Air launches Calicut flights

Manama: Bahrain Air, a private carrier based in the kingdom, has launched its flights to Kozhikode (Calicut) in the Kerala state of India.
Bahrain Air will operate three weekly flights on the Bahrain-Kozhikode route – on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
A press conference and a gala dinner were organised on the occasion of the inaugural flight of the airline in Kozhikode on April 2. Bahrain Air’s official delegation was led by B K Majmudar, director of corporate planning and commercial operations.
Majmudar expressed his appreciation for the Indian Civil Aviation for all the support and cooperation that was extended to Bahrain Air.
The flights leave Bahrain at 20:15 and arrive in Calicut International Airport at 03:15, local time (next day).
