New Delhi: Jet Airways London-bound flight carrying 262 and 15 crew passengers from Delhi landed in emergency conditions in Baku, the capital of Ajerbaijan, following a smoke warning in the cargo-hold.
The flight left Delhi at 1348 hours and the smoke warning was detected at 1730 hours, after which the flight directed to the Baku airport at 1959 hours (IST) as a precautionary measure, an airlines spokesperson said. After carrying out a check, the plane is set to take off from the Ajerbaijan capital shortly.
