Aviation Min has not met me for AI directorship: Ramadorai

Mumbai: Tata Consultancy Services MD and CEO S Ramadorai, whose name was doing the rounds for joining board of crisis-ridden Air India, today said the Civil Aviation Ministry has not approached him in this regard.
When asked whether the Ministry had approached him, Ramadorai said,"No".
Earlier, it was reported that the Government was contemplating appointing independent directors on board of Air India and had been considering the names of Ramadorai along with National Knowledge Commission Chairman Sam Pitroda for these positions.
