Mumbai: GE Aviation, a unit of General Electric Co. (GE), will supply 68 aircraft engines valued at $1.2 billion at list price to Indian airlines in the current financial year ending March 31, 2010, a senior company executive said Wednesday.
The company, however, doesn't expect any new orders form Indian carriers this year due to the current economic downturn, the GE Aviation executive, who didn't wish to be named, told Dow Jones Newswires on the sidelines of an industry conference.
