UK national roughes up immigration official

Mumbai: A 45-year-old British national was arrested from Mumbai airport on Monday after he roughed up a senior immigration official.
The passenger, Lockwood Earnest George, was allegedly drunk and was off-loaded from his flight to London as he had failed to report on time. On being stopped while going towards the boarding gate later on, George, who is also a professional swimmer, turned abusive and hit a senior immigration official. Eye-witnesses saw George bang his head against the immigration official's head, after the latter tried to stop him from going ahead. George was immediately handed over to police.
A police officer said George arrived late for his Jet airways flight 9W 120 to London and couldn't reach the boarding gate on time.
