Drunk passengers fly into trouble for misbehaving with airhostess

Two Go Air transit passengers were detained by the police for allegedly misbehaving with female crew members and co-passengers on board
a Bangalore-Mumbai flight on Sunday night. The two were picked up by CISF personnel from the aircraft after it landed and before it left for Delhi.Officials said the incident took place on the Bangalore-Mumbai leg of the Bangalore-Mumbai-Delhi flight G8 194/376. "The two passengers, Jaidev Sharma and Gulshan Mehta, were heavily drunk and misbehaved with a female cabin crew member throughout the flight. The co-passengers were also troubled by the dirty language used by these passengers,'' an official said.
The cabin crew complained about these unruly passengers to the commander. "The pilot, in turn, called up the airline's operations department and asked it to inform the security in-charge so that the miscreants could be offloaded once the aircraft landed,'' the official said.
The two were booked under the Bombay Police Act and released after being fined Rs 1,210 each.
