PSU oil cos slash jet fuel prices by 3.2 per cent

New Delhi: After three consecutive hikes, state-run oil firms today slashed jet fuel prices by 3.2 per cent in line with the softening international rates.
"The average reduction works out to Rs 1,285 per kilo litre and will be effective midnight tonight," an official in Indian Oil Corp, the nation's largest fuel retailers, said.
Aviation Turbine Fuel or jet fuel in Delhi will cost Rs 37,897 per kilo litre (kl) against Rs 39,118 per kl currently.
Jet fuel price in Mumbai, home to the nation's busiest airport, will reduce to Rs 39,099 per kl from Rs 40,384 per kl.
