AAI levies additional charge on Haj pilgrims from Delhi

Chandigarh: The Airport Authority of India (AAI) has levied an additional charge of Rs887 (Rs229 towards passenger service fee plus Rs658 towards Saudi Departure tax) on every Haj pilgrim from Delhi Embarkation point.
Disclosing this here today, VS Kundu, chief executive officer, Haryana State Haj Committee, said that the charges would be deducted out of Saudi Riyal Rs 2100 paid in cash to the Haj pilgrims.
