Forty eight hours after the slugfest between Air India pilots and crew took place some 30,000 feet in the air the incident has snowballed into a major controversy with Air India management slated to table a report prepared after questioning the pilots and the crew concerned. The moves comes on the back of the air hostess on board flight IC 884 filing an FIR accusing the co-pilot of molesting her.
The story took a dramatic turn yesterday (October 5) with another air hostesses coming forward and implicating the two pilots of the aircraft.
TIMES NOW accessed air hostess Chhavi Aggarwal's deposition where she supported her colleagues views on the sequence of events. In her deposition before the panel set up by the airline, air hostess Chhavi Aggarwal lists the entire sequence of events that led to the ugly brawl on board the Sharjah-Delhi flight, even going to the extent of suggesting that the pilots were at fault and started the fight.
TIMES NOW has also accessed the version of Captain Ranbir Arora. The Captain claims that the air hostess Komal acted 'unprofessionally'. He said he had asked the airhostess for block time and she replied saying that she wanted to finish her work quickly, did not know what the block time and would have to go back and find out.
The Captain states that the moment he unlocked the cockpit door, Flight Purser Amit banged the door open and started to use un-parliamentary language and spoke in an extremely aggressive and abrasive manner. Arora states that as the first officer stood up trying to get Amit to leave the cockpit, Amit manhandled him as a result of which the first officer started bleeding.
