Air India to set up Implant Offices in metros

Hyderabad: Government employees, Air India has set up a booking office on the premises of the Department of Expenditure, Union Ministry of Finance, North Block, New Delhi to provide reservation facilities at their doorstep.
The fully equipped Implant Office located in Room 232, North Block started functioning from October 8, 2009 and would provide reservation and ticketing facilities between 9:30 and 17:30 from Monday to Friday for travelling on Air India’s international and domestic sectors, an official press release said today. This office will cater to the requirements of Ministry of Home, Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Defence, Department of Personnel and Training, Departments of Revenue and Expenditure and Department of Economic Affairs. Two more such offices are expected to be set up in Delhi by the end of December, 2009. The airline is also exploring the possibility of opening similar offices in other metros for the convenience of Government employees.
