New Delhi: Union Women and Child Development Minister Krishna Tirath today said she will seek the report in the Air India air hostess harassment case from the National Commission of Women (NCW) after it completes its inquiry.
"Once the panel constituted by the NCW completes its inquiry, I will seek the report and direct action accordingly in the matter," Tirath told the media at an interaction organised by the Indian Women's Press Corps.
The NCW has constituted a five-member committee to probe the allegations of the Air India air hostess that she was molested and assaulted by two pilots on board a Delhi-bound international flight.
The committee, which will talk to all those involved in the incident as well as the passengers of the flight, will submit its report within a month. The air hostess had approached the NCW two days ago with her complaint and the Commission had then sought a report from the national carrier.
